Winter Master Bath

The original master bathroom of this 1930's home was

adjacent to a well appointed dressing room with mirrored wardrobe cabinets, a fireplace, and view into a private garden. The design replaces the wall between the rooms with a sculptural glass shower enclosure that maintains a visually distinct bathroom area yet opens the rooms to each other, the view and natural light. The shower, defined by the tile work, appears as a distinct three dimensional object sitting in a larger

room.
